Hogwarts-Letter

Hogwarts-Letter

The Hogwarts acceptance letter is sent to wizards and witches residing in Great Britain and Ireland before their first year at Hogwarts. A special quill writes down the name and birth of every magical child as soon as they exhibit signs of magic. This ensures that Hogwarts letters are sent at the appropriate time, including to those who are Muggle-born. The letter consists of a note of acceptance from the Deputy Headmaster or Headmistress of Hogwarts, written in green ink. It is accompanied by a list of required textbooks and materials for the upcoming school year, allowing students to prepare for their exciting journey into the magical world of Hogwarts.

Marauders Map

Marauders Map

The Marauder's Map is a magical map that shows the entire layout of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It details all the rooms, secret passages, and locations of everyone within the castle grounds. This map is a valuable tool for students wanting to navigate discreetly and avoid detection. It's especially useful for exploring restricted areas or avoiding being caught out of bounds. Activated by the incantation "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," the map reveals its contents. To conceal it again, students recite "Mischief managed," making it an invaluable resource for understanding Hogwarts' hidden aspects.

Pets

Pets

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, students are allowed to bring certain types of pet animals with them to school. The permitted pets include owls, which are used for sending and receiving letters; cats, which are popular for companionship; and toads, which can also serve as pets or magical research subjects. Students must ensure that their pets are well-behaved and do not disrupt the school environment. While other magical creatures or pets are not typically allowed, the inclusion of these pets provides students with a comforting presence and practical assistance throughout their time at Hogwarts.

Journey

Hogwarts-Express

The Hogwarts Express is the train that runs between London King's Cross Station Platform 9¾ and Hogsmeade Station. It makes this journey about six times a year and also returns to London at the end of term in June. The Express carries students of all years to and from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, traveling at the start and end of every term. The train leaves Platform 9¾ every 1 September at 11 o'clock in the morning, arriving at Hogsmeade Station in the early evening. Some students take the train back to King's Cross Station for the Christmas and Easter holidays, while others stay at Hogwarts.
